This recipe was to experiment with some new hops and to use up some leftover ingredients. Wish me luck! Flame Out Medusa addition will be done at 180 deg. as a whirlpool addition rather than right at the end of the boil. Brewed on a 5 gallon Blichmann BrewEasy Electric brewing system. Added 5 grams each of CaCl2, MgSO4, and CaOH2 to 100% RO water. Brew notes: O.G. was 1.054. Pitched 2L starter from expired WLP vial at 70 deg. @ approximately 12:30 pm. Signs of fermentation @ 6:00 pm.

Malt and hops are in perfect harmony in this incredibly balanced beer. Biscuity, bitter and packing a surprisingly hoppy punch, this beer ultimately morphed into 5AM Saint.
