This will be a first run for me using smoked malt. The special B will hopefully add enough of a raisin flavor..oatmeal for creamy/mouthy feel. Not too hoppy. Truly an oatmeal stout with the "Extra" ABV. Note the full bodied mash profile. Hope it turns out.
Mashed 6-row and Maris Otter separate. Steeped other grains. Bottled on Nov 10. Waiting for carbonation. Gravity numbers right on target. Smooth chocolatey stout flavor. Roasted flavor could be more intense. Will try one next weekend.
