I re-brewed this on 11/23/1999. I think it got an infection. There was something just not right about the smell and taste. I ended up drinking the whole batch but it wasn't great. I think I might need to start watching my fermentation temperature.
A great tasting extract porter recipe. It wasn't quite a Sierra Nevada but it was tasty. I bottled with 3/4 heaping cup of priming sugar. I steepened the grains for 35 minutes, added the extract and it took 17 min. to come back to a boil.
