Brewed 05/21/2022. 3.5G RO, 3G AW. Forgot to add CT before mash in, added 15 min after mash in. Forgot whirfloc. Cryo hops for Cascade and Simcoe. Pitched at 68F, 20C at 6:30PM. 1G of kettle trub. 4G AW total. Added 4.5g gypsum and 2.5 CaCl to boil. Need to redo mash tun pump. Also, need to figure out the stuck batch sparge situation. Possibly use gravity for 2nd sparge. Could also increase grain mill separation. Try 6.5G mash in, two 3G batch sparge. Should collect 9G.
A plain beer for Dan. Simplified the hop bill (just Citra, so original) but added in some pilsen malt instead of just light DME, and using M66 yeast to be a bit more fruit forward. Also sub Lallemand Verdant IPA yeast if unavailable. Use US-05 to dry it all out if it gets stuck.

1. Mash in (20 liters of water) at 67 degrees C for 15 min and then 60 min mash. 2. Mash out at 76 C for 10 minutes 3. Sparge slow with 12 liters of water at 78 C up to 29 liters of wort 4. Boil for 60 min and add hops acc to recipe. Use a hop spider or bag for centennial. OBS! Add 1/2 teaspoon yeast nutricient at 15 min. WHIRLPOOL: Remove hopsmider and stir up a whirlpool.
