Dead Ringer is a homage to a benchmark of the American IPA style that's brewed in Michigan. American base malt and crystal malt create a big body and supporting grainy sweetness, while charge after charge of 100% Centennial hops deliver pronounced bitterness with a dominant citrus aroma and flavor. In a glass you get a pale amber color, hop intensity and malt density.
Attempt to adjust ABV to 5.0% after adding water to secondary to account for loss to trub. Also will try hop burst technique of adding hops at 180 degrees after boil, let sit for 30 minutes then cool and pitch. Will decide on later dry hop later.
