Our aim is a New England style IPA - Low bitterness, juicy, and hazy. As a test, we split roughly 6 gal of wort into 4 fermenters, with each getting a different dry hop (Galaxy, El Dorado, Mosaic, and Azacca) in two doses - primary and secondary.
Ready to drink without aging, this ale tastes ready-aged. It has a quite forward toasty malt flavour with subtle IPA tones. It looks great in a goblet style glass and tastes complex, full and invigorating. Lovely lingering bitterness. See notes below for actual malts used.
