Let's make a 5% simple pale ale at high temp to bring out the hornidal characteristics!? reviewing last freestyle brew, picked up these notes: more body, try step mash and/or wheat malt? more head, add carapills more bitterness, add 15IBU using warrior/columbus at beginning of the boil Also, reviewing David Heath's notes: A good base is 50/50 Pale to pilsner and give it 25 IBU via one neutral bittering hop.? In dry form farm kveik is generally 6g for 25-30L

What Styles Are These Recipes?
It's not uncommon for a homebrewer to craft a homebrew recipe that does not satisfy the specific guidelines of the BJCP style guidelines. For example, a homebrewer might make an IPA recipe and decide they want it to be more bitter or darker than the defined style.
There are plenty of great homebrew recipes that fall into this category and they should not be overlooked.
