No crystal malts, lower mash temp Pitch - M 7/4 End Temp - R 7/7 Dry Hop - S 7/9 Swirl - M 7/11 Cold Crash - M 7/11 Keg - T 7/12 Tap - W 7/13 OG: 9.4 FG: Everything super smooth on brew day. Going steady after only 8hr. Very clean and smooth at kegging. Minimum bitterness, smells like pineapple. A lingering bitterness is in there too, maybe that will smooth out. The bitterness mellowed out. It's too one note, maybe single hop IPL is not a great idea, at least with this hop.

What Styles Are These Recipes?

It's not uncommon for a homebrewer to craft a homebrew recipe that does not satisfy the specific guidelines of the BJCP style guidelines. For example, a homebrewer might make an IPA recipe and decide they want it to be more bitter or darker than the defined style.

There are plenty of great homebrew recipes that fall into this category and they should not be overlooked.
