I had to sub a few things due to my forgetfulness and HBS limitations. I forgot the hop shot. HBS only had light extract in 3.3 pound increments. I also tried to save money on hops. While typing this I also realized I'm 1.4 lbs short on malt, IDIOT. Going to leave it as it is and say I meant to brew a session IPA. For the last two hop additions they were added after a 10 minute steep, so right before I turned on the wort chiller.

What Styles Are These Recipes?
It's not uncommon for a homebrewer to craft a homebrew recipe that does not satisfy the specific guidelines of the BJCP style guidelines. For example, a homebrewer might make an IPA recipe and decide they want it to be more bitter or darker than the defined style.
There are plenty of great homebrew recipes that fall into this category and they should not be overlooked.
