Added 2 1/4 pounds DME at start. Last pound at 10 minutes. FORGOT last pound at 10 minutes and cooled and figured out when FG was way off. Boiled and turned into a 5 gallon batch. Added 1 oz more orange zest but no more coriander. Checked on 6/11 and FG is 1009. A little krausen on top so will allow one more day. Ended up not bottling til 6/17. FG is 1008 or 1009. Taste is a little weak but could turn into a good summer beer. Gold caps

What Styles Are These Recipes?

It's not uncommon for a homebrewer to craft a homebrew recipe that does not satisfy the specific guidelines of the BJCP style guidelines. For example, a homebrewer might make an IPA recipe and decide they want it to be more bitter or darker than the defined style.

There are plenty of great homebrew recipes that fall into this category and they should not be overlooked.
