Going back to a single dry hop to try and let more character from the malts and yeast through, big assortment of grains in the mash, most ever, slightly more CaCl. Fermented at 65 the whole time OG 6.5 Pitch S 12/29 @ 4pm DH W 1/2 @ 10p Keg F 1/4 @ 6am FG 3.9 I didn't love this one. There was an earthy thing that clashed. The body was amazing for this abv, but yeah, wouldn't make it again.

What Styles Are These Recipes?
It's not uncommon for a homebrewer to craft a homebrew recipe that does not satisfy the specific guidelines of the BJCP style guidelines. For example, a homebrewer might make an IPA recipe and decide they want it to be more bitter or darker than the defined style.
There are plenty of great homebrew recipes that fall into this category and they should not be overlooked.
