Notes:

I've had a few of these since bottling and for a while, perhaps paradoxically, they tasted really dry to me. They weren't bad, there was a lot of great malt flavor, it was just all very much on the dry cracker side of things (even presumably with some priming sugar still unfermented). Recently, it seems to have turned the aging corner and, while still very much a dry crackery beer, it's also balanced that with nice German ale resin and hints of Noble hops. Obviously, this is a small beer and as such it has a lower FG than a bigger one would, but the flavors are all still here. It's a very clear golden color, with some nice small bubbles creating an appropriate level of foam. All the desired facets are resent and it's a super drinkable German ale that delivers plenty of Germanic malt flavor with less of the booze punch.
