Notes: First Melanoidin, first using CTZ in boil, move to hop layering again, otherwise straight forward. Brew day went as planned. Blew off after 24hr, then fell by 48hr although still chugging a bit. Dry hop dropped in under 24hr. Aroma is mild but highlights the yeast, so no second dry hop. Kegged easy. Kind of thin, not a lot of character. Blaming the hop burst. That's two in a row, time to change recipe. Tasting after a week. Incredible. OG/pH: 7.7 / 5.08 FG/pH: 4.1 Pitch: 3/19 9p DH1: 3/22 9p Keg: 3/24 9p Review: Hazy gold, mild nose, good mix of lime / apple / melon / lager yeast. Soft mouthfeel, no bitterness, crushable. Nice hoppy lager!
