Special Instructions

1.
Mash at 150 degrees with 5.5 gallons water, Strike temp = 163 degrees. Sparge with 7.0 gallons water 187 degrees F.
2.
If making a yeast starter for fermenting two primary fermenters, add 1.0 teaspoon yeast nutrient to the starter. If you don't make a yeast starter, add 2 teaspoons yeast nutrient to the boil at flame out.
3.
Add Irish Moss with 20 minutes left in the boil.
4.
Ferment at 65 to 68 degrees F for 1 week, if you can ferment cooler than 66 degrees do it!
