Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Steep the 80L in 1.8L of water @ 68C for 30 mins.
2.
Add 150g milled wheat in bag and torrified wheat and mash for 30min
3.
Sparge with 0.6L of 76C water and throw away grains.
4.
Add DME and bring to a boil.
5.
Add hops when boiling starts and boil for 30 mins.
6.
Pour into fermenter and top up with 9.6L of cold apple juice to 12L
7.
Ferment for 2 weeks using Nottingham yeast at 18 to 20C.
