Tasting Notes (1)

Malachite

Tasted on 3/13/2016 by Malachite

Notes:

Loses a lot of ginger flavor fast. It became an unsweet dark-roasted porter pretty quickly. After 2 months when it was almost gone you started to get some ginger flavor back but still not as much as I'd like. It was too dark for the amount of ginger I wanted in the beer. Done again I'd make a ginger tea separately to get better extraction and add more malto dextrin.
