Special Instructions

  1. Boil 8 Gallons water with 30 lbs 2 Row malt extract (DME) for 1 hour
  2. pour 2 gallons cold water into kettle at flameout
  3. add 4 oz hops - 2 for an hour and 2 at 10 minutes with the irish moss
  4. pour into fermenter (3 at 3.33 gallons) bringing liquid volume to 20 gallons to cool
  5. Grav comes out to 1.059 or 7.8% @ 80 degrees
  6. 4.8% 1.024 after 4 days
  7. pitched Barbarian in one fermentor which had slowed and that hit 5.5% on the morning of day 5
  8. fg is 6.5?v
