Special Instructions
- Mash part 1 - 50% of grains in 10L of clear water
- Mash part 2 - 50% of grains in wort from part
- Wash grains from mash 1 and mash 2 until getting boil water at 14L
- Efficiency reduced due to decoction method
- Whirlflock tablet at last 15 min of boil
- Adding Mosaic hops at Flame Out will probably increment bitterness at 1 IBU estimated.
- Add 10L or less of pre-boiled cool water into fermenter - enough to complete ˜20L batch
- Total water used estimated at 26L
- Clarification will likely depend on longer cold maturation at 0?C or using plain gelatine.
