Special Instructions

  1. Bring 9.5 gallons to 157.5 f. Strike mash with 4 gallons
  2. Let mash sit for 1 hour at 146 f then collect wort
  3. Bring remaining water to 170 f and batch sparge
  4. Bring wort to boil for 15 min
  5. Add 1 ounce Saaz and boil for 1 hour
  6. Add 1 ounce cascade at last 10 min of boil
  7. Add Whirlfloc at last 10 min of boil
  8. Chill wort to 70 f and pitch starter yeast
  9. Use 7 ounces of dextrose to carbonate batch if bottling
