Fluffed this up twice.Didnt add the steel braid to my mash tun OR my boil kettle.Solved the mash tun issue relatively easily, boil kettle is going to be far less fun.Did a yeast starter for the lager yeast, pitching saison from the packet.Will allow the lager to primary in a normal ferm bin at room temp for 4 days then move to secondary in a keg in a fridge at 10c for at least a week.Didnt get the post boil wort yield quantity i wanted, so the pilsener got the majority of the wort. total noob fuckaroundstarted at half 9 in the evening wort chiller in at 2am. no airlock for first day. second day had one.recipe calls for an extra kilo of pilsener malt as im not yet sure about my equipment/personal efficiency (turns out is ~60%)brew kettle bled heaps of the wort out in evaporation, (from 21L to 17L) its way too hot, need something to make it less nutsprobably a huge mistake but topped it up with cool water to hit the 1.040 ish target OG (for 3.6 ish % abv)my favourite recipe ...
