Full sparge to top rivet added grains at 166 settled 158/. Pre boil 1.035
Did a 60-40 mash and did not stir after first sparg preboil was high because I did not mix first and second sparge
Ran boil longer than planned at 80 min so wort quantity down and OG up
Xfred with spigot and worked perfectly
Closer to 5 gals strike with mashout. Added 1 gal of boiling. Temp rose to 160. Xfred ti secondary 08/26/ dry hopped 1 oz 8-30
Strike was 3.5 yielded 1.8 gallons. Sparge was a batch and remainder of 8.2 gals added. Total yield 6.6

This is second brew session. Original was 1 lb of brown sugar at 10 min. This one was 2. Xfer gravity 1.008 added toasted coconut 4-23

4.5 gallons on strike runoff 3. Started with 8.5 gals final sparge 6.5 gals at 1.041 gravity. Not thrilled with transfer to primary carboy. Lost 1.5 gallons. Dry hopped 4-12 gravity 1.014

Mashed with 4 gals and mashed out with about .75 gals. Second sparge volume added was about 4 gallons rather than 4.72, to compensate for mashout increase. First sparge sweet wort OG 1.074 yielding 3 gallons. 1.032 at start is batch sparge. I could have sparge about 6.75 gals but stopped at 6.5. Preboil Gravity at 1.055.Primary and secondary done at 65f. Much slower fermentation. Still popping on day 9. Dry hopped 1.5 OZ on 1-25. Started Cold crash on 1-28 step dropping to 35f.
Gravity of first recirculating 1.080; second recirculation 1.016
Mash out to 170 at 10 min mash remaining. OG(1.032) prior to boil was very low possibly to poor milling. I was using a Corona mill. I also fly sparged too quickly inadvertently. I added 1.1lbs of light brown sugar at 10 min remaining. my after boil OG was 1.051. The fermentation was much different then I was used to (only 5 batches though) had a milky Krausen and blowoff required on day 4-5 of pitching. On Xfered day, still had some milky krausen. Gravity reading was good (1.007).
