Is this a blonde, a rye, or a kolsch? There's only one way to find out: brew it, try it and you be the judge. The original definitely had a kolsch quality to it. But this version was adapted to brew in warmer summer months with traditional Ale yeast. With low mash temps and warmer fermentation, this should dry out toward the kolsch levels, but have an ale quality.
