This uses a west coast Pale Ale kit from Oak Barrel in Berkeley as a base. DIRECTIONS: 1. Steep grains at 165F for 60 minutes. Sparge rinse grains for 5-10 minutes (hot water/wort). 2. Boil for 60 minute schedule. This recipe calls for adding the DME and corn sugar first, then LME and homey as late additions (at 15 minutes before end of boil, along with whirlfloc tablet). 3.
