Needed a hot-fermenting yeast to keep up with this heatwave. The store was out of the Norwegian strains, so I decided to try this one. Always cool to explore new things. It's a modest beer. Not very hopped so that I can get the full character of the yeast. Kept the grains simple as well. This is a variant strain, so no sense is mashing very high.

What Styles Are These Recipes?
It's not uncommon for a homebrewer to craft a homebrew recipe that does not satisfy the specific guidelines of the BJCP style guidelines. For example, a homebrewer might make an IPA recipe and decide they want it to be more bitter or darker than the defined style.
There are plenty of great homebrew recipes that fall into this category and they should not be overlooked.
