One of our House Porters. I can't brew enough of this. For me it's great even after MOWING THE LAWN! So quenching that I have a difficult time sipping this. I couldn't get any Munich DME so I'm using Briess Traditional Dark DME instead, though technically it is maybe better suited for the task, as Briess Munich DME contains 50% Munich / 50% Base Malt, but Traditional Dark DME is 54% Munich / 30% Base Malt / 13% Caramel 60L / 3% Black Malt.

What Styles Are These Recipes?
It's not uncommon for a homebrewer to craft a homebrew recipe that does not satisfy the specific guidelines of the BJCP style guidelines. For example, a homebrewer might make an IPA recipe and decide they want it to be more bitter or darker than the defined style.
There are plenty of great homebrew recipes that fall into this category and they should not be overlooked.
