This is a solid beer but not my favourite. It's a nice clear light copper with a slightly off-white head. Notes of English Breakfast tea, biscuits, floral and earthy hops, light spice and some toffee comprise the aroma. I like the taste that the brown malt gives this brew, it really makes it stand out. I do find it quite well balanced but I wish there was a bit more hop flavour and a tiny bit more bitterness. Maybe an addition at 35 minutes and a bigger bittering charge next time. It's a nice relaxing session beer that brings me back to England.
