A Curmudgeon in the making with less alcohol I decided to put the Oak chips into the boils at 15 min, having researched it on the Internet, see how it goes. Brewing on Sunday 18/04/21. Brew was Bottled 28/04/21 with 1/2 teaspoon of table sugar. An Ale that needs time to condition. Drank it 3 months later, a really tasty malty and rich with dark fruity tangs and nutty Old Ale, will do it again and again. Changed from Crisp Europils Malt to Crisp Extra Pale Malt. And Crisp Dark Crystal Malt to Crisp Light Crystal Malt.
