Special Instructions

1.
Boil the malt extract and hops with 1.5 gal of water for 60 min (Five Gal recipe)
2.
Add Irish moss for the final 10 min of boiling
3.
Add the flavor hops (Mt. Hood) for the final 1 to 2 mins
4.
Pour the hot wort into 2 gallons of cold water in the fermenter
5.
Aerate the wort
6.
Add remaining water
7.
Pitch the yeast at 70 degrees
8.
Ferment for 1 week
9.
Prime with sugar and bottle
