Special Instructions

1.
Crushed grains using a rolling pin
2.
Added 2.5 gallons of bottled spring water
3.
Let heat come to 155
4.
Place bag of grains in kettle and steep at 155 for 30 minutes
5.
Remove grains, gently squeeze
6.
Crank heat to high and bring to a boil
7.
Remove from heat
8.
Add LME and stir
9.
Return kettle to burner and return to boil
10.
Add 1/2 oz Nugget bittering hops at first sign of boil
11.
Boil for 60 minutes
12.
Add 1 oz Willamette aroma hops at last 2 minutes
13.
Remove pot from burner
14.
Cool wort to below 80 degrees
15.
Poor in fermenter
16.
Add bottled spring water to bring up to 5.5 gallon mark
17.
Aerate wort / mix thoroughly
18.
Take hydrometer reading
19.
Pitch yeast
20.
Ferment in primary for 20 days
21.
Prime and bottle
