Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Boil 6 Gallons of water to 165 degrees
2.
Steep grains in 3.75 Gallons of water @ 152* for 60 mins.

Check Mash PH @ 30 mins and iodine test
4.
Check Pre boil gravity
5.
Bring to boil add .5 oz Goldings
6.
Alexa timer 15 mins / 45 mins / 55 mins
7.
15 mins - .5 oz Citra Hops and 2tsp gypsum
8.
45 mins - 1oz of Cluster Hops
9.
55 mins - whirlfloc / yeast nutrient / anti-foam / Wort Chiller
10.
Check Post boil gravity
11.
Add wort to fermentor
12.
Oxygen at 2PSI for 1 minute
13.
Pitch yeast

Notes:

VERY HOPPY.. 1.023 and I seem to be overpowering the citrusy smells. I can smell alcohol and Hops. Maybe use 1oz dry hop next time instead of 2. May take some getting used to. But drinkable. It may age well.. who knows.

Notes:

I'm starting to get Elysian space dust vibes from this one. Citrusy and hoppy. Not bad on the color either! Light and vibrant. and it's at 1.022 when racking into tertiary, so we're looking at 8% ABV

Notes:

1.023 while transferring to secondary in 6 Gallon carboy. Also Dryhopped with 2oz Columbus. smells very alcoholy
