Used red Blankets, and cargo blanket to insulate - worked GREAT !! Mash was at 150 for at least 45 minutes before dropping to 149F. HOWEVER - added water decreased my OG, i think. Did 2 sparges - collected wort to 1.7, 4.5, 6.5 gals. Gravity system is good, but need to raise mash tun and HLT a bit - to allow kettle to be on burner stand. I was ...
