Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Heat 5 gal. of mash water to 160*F
2.
Mash for 60 min.
3.
Lauter and sparge with 168* water for 60 min. or til boil volume of 7.5 gal. is reached
4.
Boil for 60 min. following hop schedule
5.
Add whirlfloc and yeast nutrient at 15 min.
6.
Cool quickly to 68*, aerate, and pitch yeast.
7.
Dry hop with 3 oz. Citra at 6 days.
8.
At 12-14 days or when FG is reached, cold crash for 2 days, keg and carbonate.
