Notes:

Brewed again using a 1 liter starter with WLP001, and again another homerun...mash Temp. was at 153 Degs., I also let it sit on the yeast cake for 3 weeks, still citrus, grapefruity pretty much the same great taste and mouthfeel. Just love this brew.

Notes:

I brewed again using Omega Hothead Kviek OYL-057 Yeast, very good again, although carbonation took 2 weeks this time but all in all very good. I did mash at a lower temperature of 150 Degs. @ 60 mins. which produced a slightly less sweeter and dryer beer which I'm really enjoying. Cheers!!

Notes:

It starts clear with a bronze color and an outstanding foamy head, great retention and excellent lacing. Malts, hops, all swirl around the nose in well-balanced and equal measures. The brew hits the tongue with a slightly sweet and spicy malt flavor. The mid-palate enjoys Citrusy, Grapefruity taste. The finish is a nice, earthy dry hop note. Overall, a well-balanced, restrained flavor. The feel is medium, with excellent carbonation and a nice drying finish.

Hello, I am curious. What does the use of 2 different yeasts bring to the process or taste?

Hi....I don't actually use 2 different yeast, the shop ran out of wlp001 so I used US05 for another batch...either works well...tasty either way
