2019 Version: adapted the hops to revert closer to the original Glove Slapped recipe. Should mellow the bitterness down and retain creamy flavor profile with citrus undertones. Hoping to maintain a drinkable brew that will appeal to a variety of beer drinkers' palates.

Special Instructions

1.
Mash at 149 for 75 minutes
2.
Raise to 170 and sparge until 7.25 gallons collected in kettle.
3.
Bring first runnings to boil while collecting sparge runnings
4.
Ferment 4-5 days at 55-60 degrees, raise 65-70F for 14-20 days
5.
condition at room temperature for 1-2 months,cold crash, then rack to keg
6.
Cold age for 2-6 weeks minimum (35-45F)

Notes:

crisp, clean flavor. citrus aftertaste. not bitter, slight sweet/corn flavor. Good all purpose brew. Surprised at the high ABV due to efficiency exceeding expectations. Not overly alcohol flavors at least at packaging. should mellow nicely for the camping trip in a few weeks.
