Hazy from force carbing and hops. Medium golden colour. Pours with a head that disappears relatively quickly, but leaves lacing all the way to the top of the glass long after it's been drank. Faint hoppy grapfruit smell Nice strong bitterness on the roof of the mouth and middle of the tongue. Faint citrusy taste that isn't as strong as other IIPAs I've had. Very much has a grapefruity taste (almost exclusively). Very nice finish. Original bitterness in middle of the mouth and roof of the mouth doesn't get any stronger or move to the back of the tongue. Very nice finish. Carbonation is just nice, not overly heavy but doesn't have to be. For my first all grain I'm really happy. I would defiantly dry-hop to improve aroma. For flavour I would like to have more tropical flavours (pineapple, mangos, etc). Love the dry finish in that there's no aftertaste, but might trade it in a bit for an every so slightly sweeter taste (finished at 1.010).
