Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Heat 1.3 liters of water to 68C
2.
Pour 250 grams of caramel malt into the pot and turn off the heat.
3.
Mash for 15 minutes. Stir from time to time.
4.
Pour the mash through a strainer a couple of times.
5.
Add 3 liters of water to the wort.
6.
Add the extract and stir until there are no clumps.
7.
Bring the wort to a boil.
8.
Add the hops.
9.
Let the wort boil gently for 15 minutes
10.
Cool the wort to 21C
11.
Pour the wort into the fermenter.
12.
Add 5.5 - 6.6 gram of yeast. (Half of the 11.6 g yeast packet)
13.
Shake the fermenter for a couple of minutes and then add the airlock
14.
Let it ferment for 2 weeks
15.
Bottle
16.
Let it ferment in the bottles for 2 weeks.
17.
Chill, Enjoy
