Mash Steps

No mash steps in this recipe

Special Instructions

1.
Cold mash the choc. and crystal malts for 12 hrs
2.
Using 1.5 kg hopped extract & 1.5 kg of Maris Otter extract
3.
Fresh Ginger boiled with water and 0.5 kg Brewing Sugar
4.
Cold dark mash strained & cold water wshed through. Boiled.
5.
Extract in ferm. bin and boiling dark and ginger liquids added.
6.
Made up to 16 lts with cold water after extract had dissolved
7.
Yeast added at 20C SG 1.092.
8.
After two days Fermenting well, 60gms Topaz added
9.
Seven days later fermenting well & 300gm raw ginger added
10.
Seven days later 250gm Pomegranate Molasses also added
11.
14 days later @ SG 1.016 & 250gm Pom. Molasses also added
12.
28 days after brewing 300 gms raw ginger and Sambuca added
13.
Racked 4th Feb. 32 days after brewing SG1.018
14.
Bottled 10th Feb. (50 gms Dex. Bulk primed)
