Flaked oats instead of white wheat, S-04, trying to get bg/gu around 1, one more minute less on the mash. Very easy and good day, OG came in a little low. There was no K at all, leading me to think I used a lager yeast, which I didn't. Diacetyl rest on 7/25. Messed up kegging and got a huge amount of trub in there. The aroma and flavor also seems thin, slick, and lacking. Fingers crossed. OG 3.7 FG 2.3 Pitch U 7/23 9p DH1 R 7/26 9p DH2 F 7/27 9p Keg M 7/30 9p (30psi) Ended up pretty good, in line with the others. The balance is pretty good as well, less aroma than the previous but that was an anomaly. Not getting any esters from the s-04 and no unique character from the Vienna or c-60. But I might be over hopping these.
