Mash Steps

No mash steps in this recipe

Special Instructions

1.
Mash 1 hours. Grain in @ 66C
2.
Then to 70C for 1/4 hour (Ph5.0)
3.
Temp up to 77C
4.
Wort recirculated through the grain bed x 3 then run off
5.
Sparge with water at 77C.
6.
Hops in after 30 mins boil time. Others as above
7.
Britewort added for last 10 mins. of boil.
8.
Wort chiller inserted for 2 min in boil to sterilize
9.
Final hops in at flame out
10.
Chilled water passed through wort chiller for 25 mins. (24C)
11.
Made up to 5 gals with cold water.
12.
Yeast added at 24C SG 1.048
13.
2 days later (14th June).Racked at SG 1.018 plus 1st dry hops
14.
6 days after brewing (18th June) 30 gms Citra/Topaz added
15.
Cold Crashed on 19th June one week after brewing
16.
Bottled 3 days later SG 1.006 Batch primed with 60 gms Dex.
