Mash Steps

Special Instructions

1.
Strike Water: 39.45 Litres at 74.4 C or 165 F.
2.
Mash grains at 154 F (67 C) for one hour.
3.
Do a 60 minute boil.
4.
Steep flameout hops for 10 minutes before chilling.
5.
Pitch cooled wort at 67F (19C) and allow temperature to rise naturally to 70F (21?C).
6.
When primary fermentation is complete, dry hop in primary fermenter for five days.
7.
Drink it as fresh as possible (~2-3 weeks after packaging) for maximum late hop character.
8.
Sparge water: 32.22 litres at 180 F.
9.
Dry hopping 10 days later - March 18, 2018. Ran out of Citra, so substituting with Cascade.
