Special Instructions

1.
Calculate mash water volume at 1.5 qt water per lb grain
2.
Mash at 152F for 60 Minutes, add pumpkin directly to mash
3.
Lauter and drain
4.
Batch sparge at 168F for 15 Minutes, 2 qt per lb grain
5.
Lauter and drain to reach 6.5 gallon wort total
6.
60 min. boil, Hop schedule 60/15/0 adding spices at 15 min.
7.
Cool to 70F, aerate, and pitch yeast
8.
Ferment for 6 days, transfer to secondary for 2 weeks (or primary for 3 weeks)
9.
Transfer to keg, add CO2 and relief, then cold crash 3 days
10.
Apply CO2 as preferred and enjoy when ready

    This is good. I think some vanilla bean would be good for the next batch.

    Just kegged after 2 weeks on Oak Chips and about 10 fl oz of Evan Williams with 2 oz. Fuggle DH. Can't wait to taste and adjust for next year !!! Boo-Bitch.
