I do enjoy Blue Moon; this looks awesome. I think I'm going to have to clone this one out for myself as well. You've got some good taste Brewdog!

I also like blue moon, but they use orange peel and I can taste the white part of the peel. No one wants pithe in their beer. I shave the zest off and dry it before chopping it into small pieces. Cheers!

Love your special instructions :D. Will make a new ginger ale-ish after using 2 kg of ginger in my first ginger beer (52 litres). Too much... after reading this, i might use about 400 grams ginger and put some coriander seeds too (after crushing them :D). Maybe some lemongrass and lime-zest or lemon zest. Of course some chilli (habanero) is nessesary. And then make a WIT with a lot of wheat malt and a belgium yeast. Thanks for inspiration :) Love from a hophead :D (I think I will call it "AkkaWit ginger special", check out and comment if you will).

I did check out your recipe. It looks good, and I love a good ginger beer. Be careful you don't over spice. The lemongrass will go well in this if you can dial in the right amount. The habanero is a twist, let me know how it tuns out. A good yeast for this would be Safale T-58. Sorry about your hop addiction. Haaaaa!
