WhiteHausBrewsI do enjoy Blue Moon; this looks awesome. I think I'm going to have to clone this one out for myself as well. You've got some good taste Brewdog!

Brewdog333I also like blue moon, but they use orange peel and I can taste the white part of the peel. No one wants pithe in their beer. I shave the zest off and dry it before chopping it into small pieces. Cheers!

AkkamannenLove your special instructions :D. Will make a new ginger ale-ish after using 2 kg of ginger in my first ginger beer (52 litres). Too much... after reading this, i might use about 400 grams ginger and put some coriander seeds too (after crushing them :D). Maybe some lemongrass and lime-zest or lemon zest. Of course some chilli (habanero) is nessesary. And then make a WIT with a lot of wheat malt and a belgium yeast. Thanks for inspiration :) Love from a hophead :D (I think I will call it "AkkaWit ginger special", check out and comment if you will).

Brewdog333I did check out your recipe. It looks good, and I love a good ginger beer. Be careful you don't over spice. The lemongrass will go well in this if you can dial in the right amount. The habanero is a twist, let me know how it tuns out. A good yeast for this would be Safale T-58. Sorry about your hop addiction. Haaaaa!
