Special Instructions

Prepare a yeast starter
2.
Steep grains for 20 mins at 168F
3.
Bring to boil
4.
add 2lbs Pilsen dme
5.
Add 1oz German Tradition for 60 mins
6.
Add 6lbs Amber malt 15 mins before the end of the boil
7.
Cool wart as close to 58F as rapidly as possible
8.
Add yeast at 58F
9.
Ferment at 58F for 1-2 weeks
10.
Slowly bring temp up to 68F for d rest
11.
Slowly lower the temp to 35-40F a couple of degrees a day
12.
Lager for 2 months
