Special Instructions

Chocolate Malt, Black Patent and Roasted Barley to be cold steeped for a day and added @10min in boil

Mash Schedule (Batch Sparge):

Strike grains with 4.25 gal of water at 162 °F

Mash at 150 °F for 60 min

Vorlauf and collect 2.50 gal of first runnings

Add 2.20 gal of sparge water at 168 °F
8.
Vorlauf and collect 2.20 gal in your second runnings
9.
Pitch Yeast @ 70... Ferment at 68 for first 7 days. Increase temp to 70F for the remaining 7 days
10.
4oz of cold steeped coffee (Dark Roast) in fridge for 2 days to add after fermentation for 2-3 days
