Special Instructions

Mash Schedule: Batch Sparge

Add strike water to grain from the bottom up (Underletting)
3.
Strike grains with 5.50 gal of water at 160.0 ?F
4.
Mash at 150 ?F for 60 min

Vorlauf a couple times and collect 3.37 gal for first runnings
6.
Add 3.63 gal of sparge water at 168 ?F
7.
Vorlauf a couple times and collect 3.63 gal for second runnings
8.
Combined runnings should total the 7 gal required for boil
9.
For Cacao Nibs additions:
10.
Add 1oz of Cacao Nibs at flameout. Strain a bit the spider bag to extract flavors
11.
After fermentation, transfer beer to secondary and add the other 2oz of Cacao Nibs. Leave it for another 2-3 weeks
