Great day for a brew! 55 degrees out now and partly cloudy. This is the second round with the BrewZilla and first run with the DigiBoil electric kettle for sparge water. Using Door County Raw Honey from Max & Dee Martin, Sturgeon Bay, WI 920-495-8457. Very excited. Took the day off to brew this batch for Dave Dubovsky. Nice day, partly cloudy and 57 degrees at 10:15am.Heated strike water to 165. Tossed it in the mash tun and poured in the grain while Dave stirred. Hit 153 degrees.Sparging went very well. Held a good 169 degrees and it took about an hour.We now have to move into the garage for the boil as the rain came early.
