Spring cleaning time: Using up some leftover pilsen, oats, 10L crystal and centennial hops i have along with my last viable washed yeast in the fridge (nottingham). Add a foundation of 2 Row with a bit of munich and it should make a decent cream ale with just a package of cascade for flavor and aroma.

This recipe was cloned from Brunnette Kolsch on Rye.

Notes:

Gave up quite a citrus aroma while racking to the keg. Not getting the alcohol flavor but hints of lemon and a bit of grapefruit linger as aftertaste. Mild sweetness and not much bitter flavor. very mild brew for moderate ABV.

Notes:

Took tasting while grabbing a FG reading. Has a slightly sweet and mild flavor, with a bit of an alcohol aftertaste at this stage. Reminiscent of a blend of my 3rd times a charm pilsner and rotating crops recipes. Going to leave this to clean up at room temp for another few days, cold crash, and put in keg for a couple weeks to cold condition and hope it mellows out.
