Dark black with a medium brown head with great retention. Intense aroma of coffee and chocolate. When fresh the initial taste is strongly of roasted malts giving way to a bit of coffee. After 3 months in the bottle the aroma is chocolate, with an initial taste of coffee giving way to robust chocolate becoming coffee again as the mildly bitter aftertaste kicks in.
