heat 5 gal water
Direct Heat

Special Instructions

1.
while heating water grind all grain
2.
when water is 166 put it and grain in the cooler for 60 minutes
3.
during the 60 minutes heat 6.5 gals of water to 176 degrees
4.
after the 60 minutes drain the mash into pot and pour heated water over it until you have 6.5 gallons
5.
heat that mixture up and boil for 60 minutes
6.
after 45 minutes add hops and cooling coil and whirl flock tablet
7.
when 60 minutes is up cool to less than 100 degrees
8.
put in carboy and add yeast
