Sparged grains throughout boil in order to keep a steady volume of 7 gallons in boil kettle. (6 gallons to fermenter after hop absorption and boil-off)Threw in a few ounces of 2 yr old (leftover from 1# bag) cascade I had in the freezer. ~..5 oz @ 30 mins, .5oz @ 3 mins, .5oz @ flameout.Cooled to 75*F in 10 mins, and pitched yeast @ 75*F. Fermentation began in under 18 hours and peaked at 68*F.Day 4: OG 1.062 > SG 1.016 @ 64*F. Moved to 68*F room. Once temp has stabilized, will throw in first ...
